Accelerating Innovation in Genomic Sequencing
The GSC Innovate to Sequence Award 2025 celebrates bold, novel, and impactful sequencing projects that push the boundaries of technology development and genomics research.
How It Works
- Apply: Submit a short application describing your proposed sequencing project.
- Review: Five projects will be shortlisted by a review panel based on innovation, feasibility, and impact.
- Showcase: Shortlisted applicants will prepare a graphical abstract or poster for presentation at the GSC Collaborator Forum 2025.
- Vote: Forum attendees will vote for their favorite projects.
- Win: The top two projects will each be awarded up to $15,000 in sequencing services.

- Applications Open: Wednesday, August 6, 2025
- Applications Close: Friday, September 5, 2025
- Shortlisted Notified: Friday, September 19, 2025
- Poster Session & Voting: Friday, October 24, 2025
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have ethical approval for the proposed use of samples.
- Be able to submit samples within 6 months of being selected.
- Commit to presenting their project at the GSC Collaborator Forum 2025.
