Creating the DB2 Administration Server (Linux and UNIX®)

The DB2® Administration Server (DAS) provides support services for DB2 tools such as the Control Center and Configuration Assistant.

To create the DAS:

  1. Log in as user with root authority.
  2. Issue the following command to create the DAS:
    DB2DIR/instance/dascrt -u DASuser
