Getting Started with your DB2 product

If you have internet access, run the db2setup command (on Linux and UNIX
operating systems) or the setup.exe command (on Windows operating
systems) to start the DB2 Launchpad. You can access the product
documentation through the online DB2 Information Center.

If you do not have internet access, you can view the DB2 Getting Started
Guide in html or text formats. The DB2 Getting Started Guide can be
found in the doc\gettingstarted\<locale>\<format> directory on the
product DVD. If the DB2 Getting Started Guide is unavailable in your
locale, you can access it in the English locale, en_US.
