Uninstalling non-root DB2 products (Linux and UNIX)

This task provides steps for removing non-root DB2® products from your Linux® or UNIX® operating system.

Note:
This task applies to DB2 products that were installed without root authority. To uninstall DB2 products that were installed with root authority, see Uninstalling your DB2 product (Linux and UNIX)

Non-root installations of DB2 products are uninstalled in the same manner as root installations. However, there are important differences which are detailed in the substeps.

To remove your DB2 product:

  1. Stop your non-root instance
  2. Remove your DB2 product
